Good Community.
The Pink Elephants.
Bec and Pete, her husband and best friend of 20 years, consider themselves one of the lucky ones. They gave up trying for a family following a 7-year battle with infertility & loss. Then in 2015, they welcomed their first daughter and in 2018, their second daughter, both through IVF. Following this challenging experience, Bec vowed to actively support others in their fertility journey. She donates her time in a Directorship capacity to organisations that align with her beliefs. Helping to shape the strategic direction of not-for-profits, she works to bring awareness to issues and affect change where it’s needed most. She was honoured to be a Board Director for The Pink Elephants - a not for profit organisation supporting Australians through miscarriage. If you’re seeking support in your fertility journey via 1:1 coaching, Bec has the lived experience and techniques to build resilience to overcome the mental battle.
Bec the Celebrant.
10 years ago Bec and Pete were married in an idyllic setting on her parents property, with the ceremony holding a very important place in her heart. The combination of symbology, the commitment spoken and the crafting of special moments in front of their family and friends created lifelong memories. Bec has wanted to become a Celebrant ever since then but life got in the way. She’s proud to now have her official appointment as a Commonwealth-registered Marriage Celebrant by the Attorney General’s Office. In her spare time, Bec enjoys playing this important role for couples on their special day, allowing her to fuse her passion for the community and her seasoned planning and speaking skills.
